S PRODUCTS

This company was started originally by Errol Behrens, a highly skilled metalworker with a hands-on approach. Errol qualified as a millwright in 1975, after which followed a long history in marine maintenance, steel fabrication and quality marine stainless steel work. He brought all that personal knowledge and experience into steel boatbuilding and has produced successful boats to our steel designs from 33-43ft.

Errol has been joined by Gary Dainton as a partner in the business. Gary has been in the boating industry for 20 years, with experience in yacht building, systems and electrical installations, project management, maintenance and repairs. He has also worked in the mega yacht industry as an Engineer and has over 100 000 miles under his belt as a delivery and charter skipper.

S products build the Dix 38 Pilot over a re-usable spaceframe, which enables them to build additional boats without having to build new frames. The lower photo shows two Dix 38 Pilots nearing completion in their yard.
