LIST OF MATERIALS FOR HULL & DECK

The following list of materials is approximate and intended only for calculation of approximate costs. It is not intended to be used for the ordering of exact quantities of materials for construction.

Lengths and areas are based on the actual amounts remaining in the vessel, without allowance for building stocks, temporary framing, bracing etc nor for wastage in cutting to size and shape as required.

This is a frameless boat so temporary station frames must be provided. For aluminum construction structural weight is not a problem, so we suggest that the temporary aluminum frames rather be left in for additional strength. Use 75x8mm flat bar frames with the stringers slotted in and the outer edges in contact with the hull skin.
