Sergio has the building stocks built and is holding the plywood stem, cut from the patterns supplied with the drawings.

The transom and its doublers are curved so they are laminated over a temporary former built from two curved frames and battens that support the plywood.

The bulkheads have been set up on legs attached to the building stocks. They are cut to patterns supplied with the drawings and are set up level and plumb.

Side panels of centreplate casing. The one on the left has been coated with epoxy with graphite powder, to increase toughness and reduce friction when in contact with the centreplate. The other panel will also receive the same coating.

Sergio has completed the hull skin panels and covered them with a light layer of glass in epoxy. The glass is not a standard part of the plans but does add damage resistance to the plywood.

Deck construction is progressing, as well as the interior.
